Irish people love to dress up that’s for sure! There are huge fancy dress parades in every town in Ireland on St Patrick’s Day, local mummers and wren boys dress and perform after Christmas and during All Hallows. There are numerous parties and events leading up to and during Halloween where they dress as witches, ghouls, ghosts, and creatures of the ‘other world.

During the summer time people like to dress up in regional fancy dress such as Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts. Many like to dress in the national costumes during international sporting events, wearing wig in the colour of the Irish flag.
